Right now I'm feeling pretty chill, its nearing the end of the day and I'm in bed on my laptop.
Also a bit excited for tomorrow, my wonderful friend Samara has a surprise for me tomorrow night.
She has also given me some pretty big clues so I have my suspicions
Clue one- She said to dress pin-up
Clue two- she said Katie, Kate, Morgie and Ricky are coming. So whatever it is, it has to be bearable for a man to go with a bunch of girls

Today was such a miserable day, so rainy and gross. Todd and I went out and bought Lupe a paddling pool for when its summery, its like she is our baby. She kind of is, puppies are like babies.

I think i will split this into pros and cons.

Cons:
-I randomly turn sour, I could be driving home thinking about all the things I'm looking forward to and the second I open the door I'm in this pissy mood.
-I have a tendency to not give a fuck about something then later, after some thought I will get fired up about it
-I take my anger out on the people I feel the safest with
-Sometimes I don't stand up for myself, I'll let people use me for my benefits because I love them.
-I think I need to loose like 10kgs, I love voluptuous women, I'm just not use to being one
-I let things get on my nervous when sometimes I should just let it go
-I spend to much time doing nothing, I think I would be more interesting if I had some hobbies

Pros:
-I have a great capasity for love
-I would put myself in harms way for the people I love
-I think that I have a pretty face (I'm allowed to do a vain one)
-I think I have a good sense of style, I just can't really afford the clothes I like.
-I'm bright and smart and on occasion can be quick witted.
-I am a bit odd but that's why people enjoy my company

Part 1-What’s on your mind

I am surprised that today has been so chill.
Its my 21st today and I've pretty much spent it relaxing and recovering from the last night.
Todd and I took Lupe for her first adventure to the beach, she loved it.
She was frolicking and at one point she was running into the water to get me and a wave splashed her in the face and she looked soooo cute! You know how kids look when something happens to them, they don't know what just happened but they know that something did happen. there was a flash of shock on her face.
This isn't really whats on my mind just what I did today, but I'm to tired to have anything on my mind

Tomorrow I might go to work.
Rob Ting is coming over from Melbourne with his band The King Cannons, to stay with us while they tour.
Rob is a tattoo artist and will be tattooing at my flat mate's tattoo store, Kingsland Ink while he is in Auckland, my flat mates are pretty excited to catch up with him.

So far for my birthday I've been given some pretty sweet gifts
Mum bought me some cute charms for my bracelet. A globe, three 21st keys, and a little 21 in a wreath. She also made me a really cute cake with my little ponies on it and her 21st key from when she turned 21. She also gave me 2 pewter goblets called 'orgy goblets' that her mother gave her when she turned 21. They look awesome. She also got me Lupe for my birthday.
My dad gave me some money which helped out a lot, I pretty much spent all of it on makeup, shoes and other bits and bobs that I have been in need of. He also got me a mug with these weird women on it with chains around their necks (weird huh). He also put in for Lupe
Grandma gave me a cheque that doesn't clear till monday, not sure what I'm going to buy yet.
Todd put in for Lupe and he is also getting me a BMX tonight SQUEEE.
Nick got me a giant bouquet of flowers, that was pretty epic
Like I mentioned before Samara bought me 2 prints from an artist
Dee gave me a my little pony, which I love

21!!!!!!

So today is the big two-one.
I'm 21 and now theoretically an adult.
I've been able to have sex, rent porn, drink alcohol , smoke cigarettes and gamble for a while but for some reason 21 is the big one.

My 21st dress didn't arrive so I improvised with my dorothy dress from pinupgirl.com
Last night I had a few friends around to drink and chill , I made bucket punch, which is a concoction of cider, white wine and vodka, along with apple juice and strawberries.
After that we went to town to do some Karaoke, I rented out a private room for a couple of hours.
This room was so impressive, they had a large screen tv, a flash computer to play the music with and leather seats, drinking games set up.
I feel king of bad for the owners because at the end of the night there was booze everywhere,bottles all over the floor and dice in every nook and cranny.
I even managed to have some party crashers, i have no idea who they were but one chick was wearing a leather nurses costume. Who does that for a night on the town, unless you are an escort with a theme going on.

So I had a pretty epic night, my voice is completely gone.
I will be sure to post some photos when my friend Samara sends them to me. I'm pretty nervous to see the evidence of last night.

At the moment I'm chilling on the couch with my boy , waiting for mum to drop off my birthday cake.
I'm guessing it will be 'my little pony' or 'snow white' themed.

Samara bought me some really awesome prints from a local tattoo artist . I'm not sure what her website is but her is some of her art on her facebook.

Well I must go be excitable.

I need a quick vent.
I don't get why I'm the only person in my flat that doesn't get consulted when my flatmates have people stay for a while at our flat.
FUCK everyone knows when this shit is gonna happen and I always find out like 1 day before hand.
Seeing as I'm the person who's here most of the time and I'm the one who has to pick up everyone's shit and wash everyone's dishes I should get a little bit of an input. It would be nice to be asked at least.
I don't mind if its someone I know who stays, aslong as they are nice and they don't couch potato there time away and I always feel like I'm confined to my bedroom when people crash at mine.
I think I'm turning into an introvert, its not good.

New dress

Ahhh, my dress for my 21st is going to take a few extra days because its coming from Thailand so its not going to make it in time. So I ordered another dress from a different website in the US I wasn't even thinking because Duh of course thats also gonna take a few days. I'm just crossing my fingers and sending out possie vibes. Maybe If I doing some good deeds it will come to me sooner rather then later
So meh no 21st dress but atleast I will have cute new dresses for what ever else I shall be doing.

Yay!
Its my 21st on Sunday, so on Saturday night me and a few friends are going to get wastey.
I didn't really want the responsibility of cleaning up my house if i decided to have a big thing so I'm bringing a few friends to a Karaoke Bar to dance on tables, scream into mics and bash tambourines.
I haven't ever sung at Karaoke but I have been a few times. I shall break the seal and punish the world with my shit voice.
I was planning on hiring out a private room so we don't have to deal with strangers.

I just took little Lupe for a walk. I've taken her on approximately 3 walks now and I have to be patient with her because shes all over the place and she stops and starts.
Today I decided to try get her to be brave so I headed to Western Springs park, but she was just way to scared to walk near the traffic.
I can't wait till shes more confident in public, because at home shes the sassy little shit.

I'm thinking Ewok

Here is the costume instructions (Ive just copy and pasted it)

Ewok Costume
Materials:
brown felt (in yardage and not felt craft squares)
leather rope for embellishment
1. Using your dog's face measurements, draw and oval on to a piece of paper.
2. Cut this out and place it on a piece of large brown felt and use tailor's chalk to transfer it onto the felt.
3. Cut out the face oval from the felt.
4. Try this piece on your dog and make sure the oval is snug but not too tight.
5. Using tailor's chalk, mark where to cut the ears.
6. Draping technique - start pining in felt areas where you need to trim and hem the costume. I found that the sides and back of the head needed to be taken in a bit for a more rounded shape. You'lll also need to trim the front area to create the front piece of the headdress.
7. Take the felt off your dog and cut out the area's where the ears go.
8. Trim and hem all the pinned edges you noted.
9. Try it on your dog again and repeat any steps above necessary to achieve desired results.
10. Add a leather string along the right top / side of the Ewok's face.

LIFE UPDATE!!!!
Whats new?

Well I've finished exams and University for the year. I'm thinking about going to Summer school in January but I'm not 100% yet.
To celebrate me doing so awesomely at Uni and my 21st that is becoming increasingly closer, Dad, Mum, Mums partner and my Boyfriend bought me a puppy, SQUEEEEEE
Her name is 'Lupe', kind of like Lupe Fiasco , but its basically just a female Spanish name that means Wolf. Sometime I think of her as a little Mexican dog (even though shes not) with a sombrero on.
Shes a Brussels Griffon. Shes so cute (and ugly at the same time), shes super protective of me and follows me from room to room even if shes sleeping she will see that I have left and she will follow.
My cat Gaia is kind of hot and cold with her, sometimes she bops her in the face and other times she just watches.

Exams are finally over, I now get to be lazy.
I haven't updated in ages!!!!

I might make some lists, lists are fun.

What I'm planning on doing for my holidays:
-get a head for next year of uni, Ive only picked one class but its going to be sooooo cool. Its Egyptian history of the 18th dynasty. The 18th dynasty is my favourite because there are some bad ass ladies doing some bad ass things.
-Celebrate my 21st. I don't know what I'm going to do, I have a couple friends that have birthdays around mine so I could do something conjoint with them but I'm feeling to lazy to host something at my house. I might go to a strip club, that would be mean.
-Getting a puppy, I'm not supposed to know but Todd is shit at surprises. I will get her on Wednesday or any day after then. I wanted a French Bulldog but they price around $2500. I'm getting a little Brussels Griffon. My flat mate Nick has two, they are wonderful dogs. And I like how they look like Ewoks.
-Clean the fuck out of the house. Ive started to unload stuff we just don't need. I like that the house just look a tiny bit cleaner. I'm also planning on doing a proper scrub down of everything.,
-I'm going to get active. Go for bike rides, go for swims . Its going to be awesome
-Make some money! Work called and they said I can start turning up whenever I want again, FEW.
-Read some books, I haven't read a book that isn't school related in ages. I'm planning to read some crime fiction.
-I'm going to be snow white in the Elerslie Santa parade again WOOO HOO. This year I need to buy a wig because I have don't have black hair and its a lot longer.
-Hopefully If nick gets some time I can get my thigh piece done WOOOO.

Ahh this weather makes me feel happy.
I'm back from Queenstown, Ive been back since last Friday, just been a bit to lazy to update.

So i have exams in about 2 weeks, looking forward to getting them over and done with and them I'm as free as a bird till summer school in January.
Unfortunately my student loan stops when exams do and that means I'm broke. My boss at work called me in the other day and told me that they hired permanent workers instead of a bunch of casual workers like me. Its stressful because I can't just go in whenever I want, I have to wait for them to call me in. So its not reliable. BLAH
I'm going to go on a student hardship benefit. YAY free money.Well it will actually cover rent and bills only. MEH
At the moment I'm watching 25 most sensational Hollywood, how do celebries get so crazy?
It seems like every celebrity has had an alter ego or broke into a house and crashed in a kids bed.

I'm looking forward to Armageddon, hopefully my Princes Leia costume arrives before then! EEEKK

So I have this essay I have to write before Monday.
I have to write about a traditional music style. I thought of doing Irish Rebel Music. The problem is every time I listen to the music I feel like drinking or at least getting rowdy. haha.

I bought a new bikini when I got back on Friday, its one of those Glassons ones that are kind of pin up-ish.
Blue with white polka dots, the bottom part is kind of waist high.
I'm going to have to double my daily sit ups so I'm ripped.
I think I might go to the mall soon and buy some purple nail polish. I'm not sure how tacky that is.

Queenstown

Wow , A bit has happened since I last posted.
My boyfriend's cat, Sooty had been missing for about 5 days from the Sunday before last.
I spent hours typing up a couple different lost cat posters, I posted a add online and even face-booked it.
On Friday night I went to Samara's to have a drink with her and some girls before they went to town and I got a text from Todd saying he found Sooty.
I took that as OH I FOUND HIM ON THE WAY HOME FOR LUNCH, HES OK.
But the next text I got was a huge let-down.
We think he was hit by a car and he just dragged himself behind the garage and hid behind a sheet of wood.
I still don't think its hit me yet, I love that little kitty so much.
We buried him next to my little rat, Tank Girl.
I'm really worried about my other rat, he tumor is getting bigger =(

On the 3rd mum, her partner and I jumped on a plane and went to Queenstown.
Its so beautiful here, I feel so small being surrounded by all these mountains.
Our hotel is pretty pimpin too.
On Sunday we went luging and went up this really high gondola
On Monday we went up Coronets peak to check out the snow, then we went clay target shooting, I hit 19 out of 24 targets with a Beretta Shotgun, then we went to the casino and I won $60 then lost it quickly.
Today we went to The Remarkables and went Skiing, I'm so fucking tired.
Tomorrow I think we are doing one of those crazy jet boat thingys that goes up and down a river and does rapid turns . Shesh I don't know.
I get back on this coming Friday at 11:30.
I miss Todd heaps and I just want to get a second to sit down and hang out with him and my cat Gaia.
I hope shes not mad at me for leaving just after her brother died.

Anyway I'm starting to think of costumes for Halloween.
I'm thinking I could go as Princess Leia. Not the typical slave costume, my abs aren't completely impressive yet.
Todd wants to be a Sith Lord and I might as well go Star Wars.

Update:
So I had a pretty awesome weekend.
Friday:I bought a new dress that I love so much, Its light green/blue with pink cherries on it, I decided to wear it out and I made sure I had no black on me because I always wear black and it gets a bit boring.Bentos , Ricky and I headed to Kingsland ink then went next door to bond street bar to meet up with everyone. After we got bored if spending money at the bar we went back to kingsland ink and got drunkerer. At about 10pm we bussed to Casette9.
Fuck at this point I was pretty drunk and I remember locking myself in a toilet stall with Katie and Samara and drinking this horrible sugar water drink. When we got out of the stall some stupid bitches were making this 'snorting drugs' gesture and I almost managed to get into a fight but they backed down pretty quickly, I must have had my crazy eyes going on.
The rest of the night is followed by blotches of clarity but mainly blurriness.
At one point Katie and I went to go get a teapot each and decided that rather than paying what we are expected we would batter the price, this actually worked out because the guy recognised us from Wednesday night ,as we were with his girlfriend.
I also remember hearing Morgans voice in the distance then feeling her pelvic thrust me. Had some sweet as boozy hugs and she looked fabulous in her fashion week dress.
At like 2am we decided to catch a taxi van home.

Saturday night: My lazy night.
Todd ended up going to Thirsty Dog and I stayed at home with Bentos, Keri , Nick and Paris( nicks beloved dog). We ended up watching this funny b-grade film called 'wrong turn 2' about mutant , cannibal Hillbilly's. And Henry Rollins played the buff ex military guy SO FUNNY.
I also spent like $17 of fish and chips to myself.

This week I have to start and finnish an essay , do my Spanish assignment, plan Mums bday trip to Queenstown and get her a present. I've already had a big clean-up of the house, no doubt the boys will ruin that later.

I need to take up some kind of high energy sport to take my aggression out.
I usually let shit get tp be that shouldn't or a little it boil up (I think thats pretty common).

I am awfully hung over.
Last night my flat mate Nick got drunk and he never ever drinks , like ever. It was kind of a big deal to us flatmates. Any way what I'm leading to is, he got very drunk and I was a few drinks behind everyone so I decided to catch up, resulting in a complete write-off of today.
I did something I have never done before.
I woke up fully dressed. I must have passed out before even thinking about taking my clothes off.

Today Todd and I went to Silvia park and the guy at the Warhammer shop was hitting on me, Made my day.
There were these creepy porcelain dolls, there is so much money in that shit. Just make friends with old 'empty-nesters' , they will eat that shit up.
If anyone is unsure of what to do with their lives, I suggest they take up doll making.

Thank fuck this challenge is over.

Today I woke up and decided to fuck around,I didn't really want to start an essay and I didn't want to go to work, I filled three hours with sitting on my bed with my cat, don't ask me how I did it, but it happened.

At like 12 I was like fuck it, went to work , finally received my computer card!
Did about 4 hours then walked to the super market to buy some wine and then home.
I own these $10 shoes from Kmart,(I buy a new pair whenever the current ones get manky) there are holes in the soles after 2 months! Either I am seriously awesome at walking or I should invest in some real shoes. Id like to believe I am some walking god.

-I want to have passed the first year of my BA and to be doing papers I really enjoy, not the ones people get stuck with because I enrolled to late.I also plan to go to summer school, to get ahead of the game.

-I want to have a ticket for a short 2week adventure overseas, I get far to jealous when my friends go over seas, makes me feel like I'm missing out.

-We have had a few new flatmates this year : Chrysie, Mikey , Bentos, Dylan and Nick. At the moment I think we have a pretty sweet line up of flatmates

-I started then left my shitty job at a tax Company, I seriously think that anyone who doesn't have a problem calling houses several times a day with an automated voice message is a fucking arsehole. After 4 weeks of working there I had a early 20's crisis and decided to stop putting off life and go to Uni and learn what I want, I do my best to ignore the fact that I now owe study link thousands of dollars.

-Started a new job, Ive worked there before but not its casual with less responsibility.Its nice to not have to get up early. EAZY BREEZY

-Im turning 21 at the end of this year EEEKK. I don't have any plans of what to do but I am expecting a ticket over seas from my parents.

-For my mums birthday I am planning a trip down to Queenstown. Ive never been to the South Island. Plus last time I went skiing I was 12 and my Uncle screamed at me the whole day because I wasn't learning how to ski fast enough for him.

-I saw one of my favourite bands this year. Converge , they were awesome!

-Got my second tattoo, and my first tattoo finished. Wanting more.

Today:
When I went to get out of bed this morning my alarm went off.
I arrived at work at 10:30am and spent about 15 minutes trying to find a computer to use, that's the shit thing about being a causal worker. At lunch Mum took me to a shoe sale and all the shoes were shit. Then we went to Maccas and I had a sundae and a toy (it was a Lama). After 6 hours of typing up reports I did a time sheet then went home and got into my comfy clothes and heated up last nights stir fry NOM. Ive pretty much been on the couch from 6 till now.
I am currently watching the X factor. Why do Australians have these horrible speaking voices but when they sing they enunciate and sing clearly.

Wednesday
I went to go to pick up my scooter from Scootling, I drove to Dads and had a peanut butter sandwich and watched the movie channel. Went home then Todd and I went to the Library to fax some forms. Then we went to a bakery and drove to Point Chev Beach and had hour baked goodness. When we got home got the BMX's and biked around Western Springs Park, I biked over a lot of duck poo and got very sweaty.
After that we made Stir-fry then bought some Woodies. Samara came round and we drank in the garage with Nick and Bentos also.

Tuesday:
Had a relaxing morning and then planned to bmx to the tattoo shop. After lots of complaining on my part we got there and Todd had his ribs tattooed. Katie was there getting tattooed by Nick. Brendan asked my if I wanted anything but I wasn't in the mood to be sore.
After Todd's tattoo was finished we biked home and that was a lot easier.
I tried to have a nap before my burlesque class, didn't happen.
Morgie came and picked me up and went to hers and had a chat then stopped by Finn and Lara's to pick up a vinyl player then we got to class.
We spent the whole class going over what we learnt last week, which was great because now I think I actually look kind of convincing when I do it now. Morgie picked up the routine really quickly =)

Monday:
Worked from 10-5pm
When I got home I pretended to study but just reverted to couch potatoe.

Who knows, might attempt to go for another bike ride then later start my essay on Palaeolithic cave art.

I might make this more of my weekend update.

I got Todd to do my nails
Friday night I went to 'Freak of the Week' with Samara. I drank a six pack of woodies and then when I got to town and I bought another 2 woodies and then ordered another 2 at the bar. I'm not trying to sound impressive , like oh man I'm so cool i can drink heaps of booze, I'm trying to make the point of how horrible I felt the next day!

My second ever bad hang over. Yuk
Apparently when I got home all my other flatmates were in bed.
According to Todd I was hiccuping and giggling hysterically because I spent all my money. I also tried to do the burlesque routine I learnt on Tuesday, but Todd said I just fell over a few times.
When I woke up my fake eyelashes were halfway down my face.
Not planning on doing that again. I hate not being able to do anything the next day.

On Saturday day I lay in bed sore, while Todd went to his Warhammer competition , he came second.
Having spent all my money we had a quiet night using pingys to pay for a bottle of wine.
I was really stoked that my cat Gaia jumped on my lap for a cuddle in the garage, but then her tail knocked my wine glass over onto my phone. It was fucked anyway at least I can receive texts after a whole day of it spazzing.

I find it really amazing that all around the same time, my cellphone, scooter and laptop fuck out. Just happy its while I'm on holidays other wise Id be winging. So anyway I need to wait till the payday after the next to be able to get a new phone cos I need my scooter first. Payday is ever 2 weeks WAHHHH

So Sunday I was feeling better, I was planning on going to work for like 3 hours then go to Jarrod's daughter Ruby's 1st birthday. I suddenly felt over whelming pissed off at my flatmates and claustrophobic too. FUCKING GRUBBY BOYS. At least its not as bad as having a couch monster, though word on the street is Couch Monster is looking for a new place.
I think the claustrophobia was due to not having my scooter, I always like knowing I have a way out or the ability to go somewhere when ever I want. That must be why I don't really like flying (apart from the ones that let you pick what film you want to watch).
So mum came and picked me up and we went to New Market and looked at puppy's.
After that we drove to Parnell to find John Key's house (Prime minister , to those readers out of NZ). Mum couldn't remember the house number but the houses were all huge on his street.
Then some dude drove past us in his Mercedes and gave us 'you don't belong here' look so she and I did the fingers at him. Made my day.
After that we went to the cat colony place in Parnell.Its this place where heaps of feral cats live and people come and feed them and sometimes people get them fixed cos there are about 50plus cats. I only saw 2 cats , one grumpy looking small black cat and a brown stripy cat that was biting his tongue.
After that we decided to go to the movies but there was nothing we wanted to see so Mum dropped me home. After that I made pasta and got into bed and watched 'The cat returns'. At the moment I have an obsession with Studio Ghibli films.
Gaia came and joined me when I was watching the film , and I got suspicious that she could talk like the cats in the film.

So about my burlesque class.
It wasn't all glamorous with long elegant movements.
We learnt a dance routine kinda like how Katy Perry would dance in her music videos, 'cute' would be the best way to put it.
I can't dance, I spent the first 20 mins trying to not fall off my heels. I wasn't the worst dancer in the class at least!
The teacher was quite short so I kept having to remind myself not to get down to her level, I must have looked gangly. Plus the staring into a large mirror while dancing made me a little self conscious.
After a while you loosen up and start having fun, and the endorphins arent to bad.
Its a really good work out. And i have been trying to get the routine down all week. Gotta say although I looked stupid I had fun and I'm looking forward to the next class.

I'm on holidays now YAY.
Planning on working 8 hour days Monday and Tuesday so I have some money left after I pay for me ol scoot scoot.
I'm also making something for Morgie in my spare time. Its cute and crafty and I f i get better at it Ill make some for everyone woop

-Get the Virus removed from my laptop (the anti virus I bought hasn't helped with this particular problem)
-A new hand bag, I love mine but one of the straps is weakening. Plus having a white handbag means I can see how filthy I get when I'm boozing
-Thigh Tattoos. Enough said.
- I will also get Todd's cat fixed. Todd is a slack cunt and I'm sure Sooty the cat has several babies out there. I bet he doesn't even pay kitten support. Once my cat had kittens and then the dad ate them! YUK. Fixing him will also stop his lipstick from popping out and trying to get in and around my face.
- Save for spending money for my ticket overseas. Not sure where I'm getting the ticket for but Mum and Dad are getting me one. I said I don't want to go anywhere resort-like mainly because I just know I won't spend my days at the beach. My skin tone screams tourist at the beach!!!!

I’ll try to sum it up by first telling you about the folks I work with:First, there is this supermodel wanna-be chick. Yeah, okay, she is pretty hot, but damn is she completely useless. The girl is constantly fixing her hair or putting on makeup. She is extremely self-centered and has never once considered the needs or wants of anyone but herself. She is as dumb as a box of rocks, and I still find it surprising that she has enough brain power to continue to breathe.
The next chick is completely the opposite. She might even be one of the smartest people on the planet. Her career oppertunities are endless, and yet she is here with us. She is a zero on a scale of 1 to 10. I’m not sure she even showers, much less shaves her “womanly” parts. I think she might be a lesbian, because every time we drive by the hardware store, she moans like a cat in heat.
But the jewel of the crowd has got to be the fucking stoner. And this guy is more than just your average pothead. In fact, he is baked before he comes to work, during work, and I’m sure after work. He probably hasn’t been sober anytime in the last ten years, and he’s only 22. He dresses like a beatnik throwback from the 1960′s, and to make things worse, he brings his big fucking dog to work. Every fucking day I have to look at this huge Great Dane walk around half-stoned from the second-hand smoke. Hell, sometimes I even think it’s trying to talk with its constant bellowing. Mouse traps are the first thing that came to mind and seeing as I'm sitting in bed craving mouse traps the decision has been made!

1 egg, lightly whisked
1 cup grated colby cheese
1 cup grated tasty cheese
Vegemite (fuck that marmite shit)
1 loaf toast sliced bread

1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Mix together egg and grated cheese.
2. Spread a thin layer of Marmite or Vegemite over the bread slices
3. Spread the cheese mixture over the Vegemite and then cut each slice into three fingers.
4. Place on an oven tray and bake for 10 to 15 minutes until the bread is crisp and golden. Cool on a wire rack and store in an airtight container.

Life Update:
Today in my Spanish class my tutor asked a question in Spanish and usually when he does that he expects me to reply in Spanish, I managed to draw a total blank and freeze up.
I hate that, not that I made a dick of myself but the fact that now he probably thinks I'm completely lost. Plus I got all stressed that I wasn't doing enough and am planning on cramming some study in.
The problem with uni is that the university expects you to do about 35 hours a week of study (including the time in lectures and tutorials). Well its not really a problem , my laziness is the problem.

Today I also went to the mall to do some window shopping, I tried on a skirt that I had no intention of buying but fuck the glassons mirrors are so very evil, they make you look short and chunky.
I'm sure its a trick to make people spend more money because they feel miserable about their appearance. I ain't falling for it buddy! there are parts of my body I would like to improve (that exercise can fix) , but I'm not going to let your demon mirrors ruin my day!

In my Gender Representation paper the theme for the day was 'Men Dancing'. This got me all excited because I thought we were going to see some man strippers.
But instead there was some amazing dance routines around Masculinity.
One was of some men drinking in a bar but it was all dance routine and it represented how being a man is about 'getiing the job done and taking action'

I really liked how the lecturer highlighted that being masculine is about putting on a performance that makes men fit in along with other men whilst also gets them noticed. However the performance has to seem like they aren't trying hard or are even putting on a performance.

Life Update:

The last 2 weeks have seemed like a blur. Most likely due to the shit weather and me not really giving a fuck about anything.

At the moment its hard for me to want to go half of my classes , but I have to tell myself to suck it up.

I'm also on a body loathing buzz. But yet again I'm telling myself 'SUCK IT UP MAGGOT' (that was suppose to be an army dudes voice'.

Todd is finally on the benefit, his work pretty much told him hes out of work with out firing him, I'm picking they don't wanna pay him out, so they are doing the 'oh your still employed, but theres no work for 2 months' . Apparently the boss is broke so Todd can't even get some sick days. On the bright side of things Todd's getting some form of income so the bills are getting paid again.

I'm planning on dying my hair this weekend, there are so many browns in my hair at the moment, due to my previous black removal-bleach fail. I'm thinking a dark brown. Like Anne Hathaway's brown. I don't particularly like her but she has pasty skin like me and brown eyes. Plus in 'Devil wears Prada' I had a little bit of wardrobe envy. Or maybe zooey deschanel's brown, which is less chocolatey. No one will notice what brown I pick.

Why would I keep a photo that makes me sad or angry, and why would I google images that make me feel that way until I find the one that makes me sad and angry the most.

Today is Saturday, today is a good day.
I'm going to the beach to get sand and going to mitre ten to get wood, so Todd can make his warhammer board. After that I plan on starting an essay I should have started on sooner. Then do some Spanish.

Last night was Ricky's Birthday-do. We went to a private screening of Terminator AWSOME. Ive never seen Terminator (Gasp! Yes I know).
Morgie is by far the best wifey, and she also made delicious treats. Ive been sitting in bed all morning dreaming about spinach and egg muffins. God damn, Im going to make todd take me to a bakery and get some.

Its been so long since Ive had the chance to sit and read a good book. I've had uni books shoved on my lap and forced to read about self indulgent arseholes talking about how wonderful they are at analysing things

Favourite book or at least one of would have to be Snow White and Rose Red, by the Grimm Brothers. My mother has this really old book of Grimm's stories I love it.

Favourite adult book would have to be The Geisha of Gion, its kind of like Memoirs of a Geisha but its not fictional. Im very sure there are other books I like more then this one ,but none come to mind.

Last Night was easily one of the best nights ever. Morgie and I and some of her friends went to The Dust Palace & Petit Cheval Burlesque present Banana Burlesque at cassette 9. It was so impressive.
I got dressed up and wore my Miss Illicit Cup cake dress that I never get the chance to wear

In other news:
Things have been good but also bad.
So there is no work for about 2months at my boyfriends job because of winter, or economic slumps or whatever else you can attribute it to.
I live off peanuts because I cant get a student allowance and I just spend a wad of cash on finishing feet tatts so we are rather broke at the moment. On the positive side hes getting a food grant and that's more then I spend on our groceries a week. YAY REAL FOOD.
Today our new flat mate Nick is moving in, he owns a tattoo store in kingsland and has 2 cute doggies, but they arent living with us. Looking forwards to doggie visits though.
Today I've also done some weeding and threw a huge worm at my cat, I feel a bit guilty because she didnt like it.
I have just finished my first week back at uni. It was fun and I'm learn a lot of Spanish in a small amount of time eeek.
Last night I went to Ricky and Morgie's and I had an awesome time screaming love ballads.
Tonight Morgie is taking me to a burlesque show yay! I'm excited!

Ive been looking at of photos of cats with tattoos .

I know they arent real, but even the fact that some one spend the time doing makeup on them or evenj editing them is cool

Predators and a bit of a moan

Today should be a good day....
Our couch monster was suppose to leave yesterday and move into a flat but didn't. Also managed to blame it on our other flatmate because he didn't show up with his car. Today is the big day! Bentos so kindly offered his work van, OH BUT WAIT they have to pick it up from the shore, and evil Leah and Todd won't give couch monster a ride over the bridge to get said van because they are finally getting a date day with some peace and quite. OH NOOO NOT PUBLIC TRANSPORT I WILL BE DAMMED IF I EVER HAVE TO GET A TRAIN, THIS IS JUST UN HEARD OF.

Hehe I kind of got away from the point.
Today Todd and I are going to see Predators the movie, it is going to kick ass!!!
After that I'm planning on finally pleasing that craving for pearl tea, that Ive had for about two weeks now.
I am also looking forward to going to some Asian stores and getting some nicknack's. I'm talking paper light shades, a Maneki Neko (if I can find a cool one) and anything else that I feel belongs in the shit hole that is my home.

Looking forward to this week:

I have some time booked in at Kings land Ink so i shall either finnish my feet or get my thigh piece (picture to the right)
Not feeling the need to bitch and moan about couch monster because he is no longer couch monster , he is a visitor who only stops by
Starting my first assignment of the semester, it looks fun (I'm suppose to find a piece of clothing and describe how it reflects female status in society, identity and culture, 'fighting back' how women dress differently to be set apart from societies expected roles and gender display)

Not Looking Forward to this Week:

Waking up early for University again.
Being completely lost when it comes to finding my new lecture rooms
Having to clean my lounge and disposing of a cat piss smelling sleeping bag

I feel like I live in a hostel, there are constantly people coming and going.
People who don't even live here.
At this moment I'm sitting in my room two people who don't live here are hanging out in the lounge, I am the only person who is an actually resident in this house at this very moment and I haven't even left the room.
I feel like a total bitch blogging about it, but I need to vent it.
I have never more than now wanted to move into a flat with just Todd. But the problem with this flat is that its been in our circle of friends for a while, it would be a shame to give it up.
Luckily our current couch monster has found a flat and is moving out on Saturday, i cant forget to mention hes trying to take bits and bobs from our house 'oh Ill take the fridge & the spare bed in the garage'.
FUCK
I know it seems like I'm over reacting but this has been forced upon me for the last month and a half, Ive lost my entire holidays to hiding in my room because the couch monster has just taken over the kitchen and lounge. Hes so dominating.

Sad news

This morning I noticed a lump in one of my rats. It was pretty much instant heart break, I am very aware of how common tumors are in female rats and I know how aggressive they are.
So after freaking out for a few mins I decided to take her to the vet.
When Todd and I got there I tried to explain what was wrong to the nurse and I just started crying. I felt like one of those really annoying kids that get hurt at the park and then they pick themselves up, but when their parents arrive they start crying again like its the worse fucking thing.
So the vet came down from the surgery and had a look at Little Pup and he agreed that it was a tumor.
He said I have 2 options , first was to have a surgery to remove it that will cost $300 , but he said chances are it will grow back quickly and the second was to let her live it out. I also asked if about having her put to sleep , but we decided we would let her go on until it inhibits her normal life.
I feel so fucking stingy deciding not to pay the $300.
The only reassurance I got was that she isn't in pain or suffering. I'm also feeling a bit of guilt for not spending more time with her.

Thursday

Last night I went to the premier of Eclipse. But I have to make it clear that i use the word 'premier' in the literal sense , not like the premiers you see on the E channel or even the premier's that New Zealand have whilst attempting to replicate on E channel (that sentence doesn't really make sense). No this was just a cinema with hundreds of 'twi-hards' with their team Edward and team Jacob t-shirts.

I think the scariest part was that I could actually feel the in the hysterical excitement vibes coming off of everyone.
I enjoyed the movie, and the free popcorn (thank you mum), but I'm glad I hide my twilight enjoyment, because I couldn't cope talking about the books with some of the fans I saw last night. Id most likely end up being mauled by tween age girls because I don't think its literary genius.

This morning I woke up to our couch bum talking very loudly and this seems to have replaced my alarm clock.

I went to me appointment at family planning. I should have gone there for my prescription, its free and my Doctor charges me $20 to print off a prescription paper every 3 months. ARGH.

After my appointment I went to the mall and fucked around by myself.

I ended up buying a little Disney snow white necklace, uber cheesy but I do feel disappointed when I come home with my hands empty.

I also bought some 1.5kg weights, because I don't like the extra fries hiding around the biceps.

Its been a pretty lazy day, and the weekends shall be similar. I'm saving up to get my feet tattoos finished , its been way to long since I had them outlined and I need some colour!!!!

I also have decided my next piece WOOOHOOO

I know Katie has posted something on her love for Zooey Deschanel, but I have just found my love for her.

After watching 500 Days of Summer ,recommended by Morgie Ive fallen into girly crush mode. The after watching her the movie , Rory showed me her band on myspace. DOUBLE SWOON

Her band is called 'She and Him'. She sings and and plays piano and Mathew Ward plays guitar. Zooey's actually got a really sweet voice and it reminds me of June Carter.

Holidays

Holidays are here for me. I've just finished exams, and I'm understandably relieved.

I'm happy to say I think I did really well, especially for Ancient Egyptian History.

Ive enrolled in next semesters and they are a bit all over the place due to the classes fulling up like crazy.

I've decided on:

-World Archaeology (Its just really interesting stuff)

-Gender representation (I like being a female and Sociology really sparked my interest in how fluid gender )

-Beginners Spanish (Auckland Uni requires everyone to take 2 general courses and I thought this would be fun for when Todd and I got to Mexico for day of the Day of the Dead festivals)

-Musics if the world. (this involves music like old slavery music from the states, cultural music etc)

Today is my first day on holidays, and Ive written a list out of things I want to do in my 3 weeks off (I really enjoy writing lists, however actually doing them is a different story).

One of my main plans is to get my tattoos finished.

I love my ponies and Ive finally decided on what colours they shall be.

One is going to be based on 'Minty' from My little pony and the other is going to be a deep purple and a slime green for a zombie-ish effect.
