Jane: Pin up at War
(its the first that came to mind)
Its about a man who wrote a comic strip about a pin up called Jane , it was publihed in news papers during the war, and he would used nude models to help draw her. Then after a while the comic became so famous that followers started to believe Jane was a real person that the artist was basing her on. After a while he decides to find a Jane look alike, Christabel Leighton Porte, who was one of the original nude models he used.
I think she even changes her name to Jane.
